Crazy Before Pics on Facebook - YIKES!

My good friend Arleen posted some old before pics on the Lap Band Gal Facebook page.  Click on the Facebook badge icon on the top left of the screen to see them for yourself. I especially like the grumpy face shot.

Wow!  Who is that girl?

The photos were taken while we were traveling through Egypt, Turkey, and Israel in May of 2008.  I remember I did Weight Watchers and lost about 25 lbs before that trip.  Of course, the moment I returned from the trip, the 25 lbs were gradually gained back and then and extra 10+ lbs for good measure.

I think that I am finally starting to see that I don't look like that fat girl anymore...it's a slow process, but I'm getting there.

  4. I have hardly any before pictures because when the camera came out, I was GONE. You did not seem to shy away from the camera which I think is great. Now you have lots of pictures to remind you where you do not want to be again. :)

  5. what's funny is that I met you in chicago and you were small...and then san fran...and you were small. And even though I know you had the lapband, it really is one of those things where I can't see you ever being fat or ever going back to that.

  6. It's hard to believe the person I met in Chicago is the same as those in the before pictures. You are so tiny.

  9. For the interview, remind them that you have used the tool for all it is worth, and are doing Awesome. Results are achieved by someone that gets that.. Very cool
