  1. Thank you SO much for doing this vlog. I'm going to follow up with my surgeon at my 2 year check up. My blood has never been checked since surgery. And I only take a multi-vitamin (sporadicaly..(hangs head in shame).
    THANK YOU Again!

  2. Hmmm this is very interesting! I wonder how I can naturally get more B1 in my diet. I'm going to do some research. I do take a multi-vit every single day but I'm afraid I'm probably not getting in enough fruits and veg really. Thanks for posting this!

  3. Interesting! I googled what foods have B1 and this is what I found:

    Foods Containing Vitamin B1
Vitamin B1 strengthen both the immune system and the nervous system, and can be helpful in reducing stress in the body. Vitamin B1 is commonly found in seeds, beans and peas, making the nutrients available to both meat-eaters and vegetarians. The highest quantity of vitamin B1 is found in raw sunflower seeds, which contain around .82 milligrams of B1 per 1/4 cup. Other foods that contain high levels of vitamin B1 include black beans, peas, Crimini mushrooms, pinto beans and Yellowfin tuna. The minimum daily required amount of vitamin B1 for adults is around 1.2 milligrams.

I definitely need my B levels checked!

  6. I love when you do VLOGs! I would really like to see that doc. Sounds interesting. I recently added a calcium/magnesium/vitamin D supplement at bedtime due to twitchy, crampy legs, and it seems to be working.

  7. Interesting! I hate that we all get different advice. Hmm 1400 calories sounds good, but 4 miles of exercise a day D: IDK about that!

I love your blog! Thank you for commenting on mine. It's so cool to see someone at their goal weight.

  8. Great post, sorry I missed it the first time around. I worry about my nutrition and plan to get it checked, but I'm working on improving as we speak-- I know it is not ideal, but I am trying to get 8 oz of V8 splash in per day in order to get a bunch of nutrients for the 80 calories.

The way you pronounce that syndrome: Wernicke Korsakoff is--

WER- NEH- KEY CORE- SEH- COFF

    :-)
