Zip It. Zip It Good. Pics & Video!

As I reported on the Lap Band Gal Facebook page on Saturday, I stepped out of my comfort zone and went zip lining...in the outdoors...as in nature...with bugs and dirt.  And do you know what? It was SO FUN!

The first thing that happened before we even loaded into the van, was to step up onto the scale and get weighed in.  And do you know what? I had no hesitation jump up onto that scale.  I don't even know what the weight limit was.  Here's the scale graciously laid out in the parking lot for a what I thought was a very public weigh-in.  No biggie for me though.

Sexy helmets and body harnesses.  Good times.

Gettin' ready to zip!

Zip on!

  4. When my husband and I had only been together a few months, he took me to a tropical island resort, and we went by helicopter which involved weighing in for the young (cute) guy behind the counter. He could see the number, but we couldn't. I stepped on the scales, he said "50 kilos, thanks", and I said "Good man". I was about 77kg at the time!

  5. Since I don't ever see myself zip lining - stepping on a scale out in nature would be the NSV for me ... congrats :) And I'm glad you have fun :)

  10. Looks like fun! But then again I've always been the type to go do the extreme, high fun rides. I never really thought of weight factoring in though. Lol.

  12. This seriously touches my heart. I was on a cruise last year where the weight limit for zip lining was 250. Obviously I couldn't go, I read it before hand though so there wasn't any public display of my weight before hand. I told hubby though, that's going to be one of my rewards when I reach goal is going zip lining because I know I will love it! Thanks for sharing this!
