"Operation Swimsuit" Has Begun

I haven't worn a swimsuit since my trip to Las Vegas in July when I was a size 12/14. That swimsuit was given away long, long ago.

I have NO swimsuit for this new yet unfortunately saggy-skinned body of mine to wear on a cruise in April to the Caribbean.

Therefore, I have initialized "Operation Swimsuit".

There are many essential tactical and strategic maneuvers in achieving a successful outcome to "Operation Swimsuit".  The four-step process includes:
  • Increase the strength training exercises for toned legs, arms, and abs.
  • Add in one additional Zumba or Jazzercise class each week.
  • Locate a one-piece swimsuit that can contain and disguise previously mentioned saggy skin.
  • Get a spray tan (don't want to blind anyone with my pasty whiteness)
6 weeks and counting to complete "Operation Swimsuit"!

  1. You should start a "operation Swimsuit" group. LOl. I'm doing that same thing (kinda, sorta) but at least have until June to get there!I already have a suit picked out and since it's a two piece I really have to get those abs going!!

  2. They have Spanx swimsuits, OR there are some called Wondersuits or something like that... I'll have to find the link for ya. They say they shrink ya by 10 lbs or something. Not that you need it, but they also hold in said saggy skin.

They're a bit expensive, though. So if you're thinking about going that route ya might wanna start a change jar. lol :)

  3. You must post pix! I bet you'll look super-foxy!

There's a chance a friend of mine is going to join us on Saturday if you don't mind. She is just starting the Lap-band process and I think it would be AMAZING for her to be in the same room as you and Tina and Jen. She's been told she'll probably only lose 50% of her excess weight so she could use some support. Let me know if it is a problem.

  12. Ive just purchased a swimsuit as I am heading to the States in May.. This is what I got http://www.zodee.com.au/Womens/Swimwear/Figure-Shaping/?filter=320
I got the classic fit as it was on sale but I really wanted the chic control and may get it before we go. It holds my stomach in and gives good shape. Love it!

  15. I just got a size 12 tankini and it came with power panties! I love it! Good luck, and please let us see pics. I have been using Jergens Natural Glow light tanning foam. It gradually gives you a tan. I really like it.

  16. Try the Victoria's Secret push up tankinis. Seriously, they are awesome -- no matter how much boobs you have, they make the most of them and distract from any not so perfect places!

Love the spray tan, its an absolute must. I'll be hitting that booth soon! I know you will look great, good luck!

  17. The spray tan works great! I also wear a cover up to the side of the pool and kind of slide it off as I sit on the side and leave my flip flops and cover up right there. It works really well. Hope you have a wonderful time!
