So true. I've been saying this for my whole life. But it's nice to hear it is in our heads. Blogging is what I found to be the best way to just work it out.
Wow!! You hit the nail on the head. I wasn't aware of youtube having this kind of videos on it. Thanks for the reality check. Have a wonderful weekend. By the way.....you look fantastic!!
I'm in the minority, I kind of don't agree with her. I get the message and see that she is saying that you can overcome any weight loss surgery-- but I think it is kind of foolish to say the band isn't helping with appetite and portion control. Come on! That said: I totally credit this woman for doing a great job, losing weight, and clearly being very real about losing weight with a band or any choice at all... very interesting and thanks for posting.
Kudos to that chick!!! She looks great, by the way-- just like you.
I am not a lap bander, just a regular woman struggling like most with weight issues.
So refreshing to see someone be so honest about the surgery. It is not a cure all but a tool to help. I am sure it has very significant drawbacks(as any surgery), but it helps to give you a change in behavior. Some people find a non-surgical way to do the same thing, and that is ok too.
I have read several lap band blogs and see the ones struggling, and you are right, it is all a mental struggle.
Good for you in your progress, you look beautiful!
Great video!!! Thanks for posting it!
