Does the Food Addiction & Stress Eating Ever Go Away?

I arrived at my desk this morning and I'm barely 30 minutes into my work day...and guess what...let the stress begin.

Nothing like a three day weekend to let the emails pile up and the to-do list get even longer.  Luckily, work stress is the only kind of stress that gets my band to close up. Here's hoping.

I want to eat every...single...donut...in...that...damn...cafeteria...right...now.  Don't even get me started on that f*cking breakfast buffet....oh and the bagels...don't forget the bagels.  Toasted with peanut butter and strawberry jelly.

I also want to crawl under my desk and take a nap.  Sigh.

But I'll just sit here and drink my Miralaxed spiked water while trying to not bite somebody's head off.  'Cuz I will.

The End.

  1. I also had a stressful morning. Not really feeling the stress eating this morning though, for a chance huh? Just feel like snapping someone's head off though for sure.

  6. Never goes away. It's more like it ebbs and flows and some days are worse than others. I know that isn't much help BUT it's still worth it. :)

  7. It never goes away if you ask me, I wish it would, I freaking hate it! Stress eating, bored eating, trigger foods all of it I wish it would poof disappear!

  8. Wow! This could not have come at a better time. I have been in the middle of a meltdown since Satuday about my seemingly bottomless pit. While there are stressors, such as planning a wedding and starting my new semester, not much else has changed. And the wedding stuff is fun. :-) However, I feel an insatiable head hunger and it's making me crazy and I have put on 3 pounds since New Year's Eve. I'm freaking out. I'm still working out and logging like a madwoman, but hoping it passes soon. Just when you think you can live a normal life . . .thanks for reminding me I'm not alone.
