Weigh-In Day...

Goal Weight: 135 lbs

Last week's weight: 140.6 lbs

This week's weight: 141.0 lbs

GAIN: 0.4 lbs
How did I GAIN 0.4 lbs this week?

Let's review, shall we?

I wish that I could tell you about fabulous and yummy middle-of-the-night trips to the ice cream grocery store aisle.

But that didn't happen.

Or even tasty visits to the Taco Bell drive-thru.

But that didn't happen either.

Here's how it did happened.  Since my last weigh-in, I:
  • Tracked my food choices and ended each day around 1100-1200 calories and 70+ proteins.
  • Drank 100+ oz of water each day.
  • Jazzercised five times this week = 320 minutes of cardio and weight lifting.
Here's what doesn't show on that scale:
  • Some of my fitted tops are starting to get lose on me...mainly in the abdominal area (yay!)
  • Jeans that I was struggling to zip up after Memorial Day weekend, have extra room in them now.
I will continue to press on.

There is no done.

There is no finish line.

  1. Pressing onward...here my Lady!

You are doing fantastic I might add.

I have walk/run 31.5 miles this week, and will walk another 5.2 tonight and then Zumba in the morning.

    Loving this fitness stuff! LOL

  4. I try to see the scale as an indefinite marker as to how I'm doing. The scale might be down a pound tomorrow for you. I was expecting a gain this morning due to some poor food choices this week but was down a bit. I suspect that when I don't exercise as much, the scale goes down. I've only had two Zumba classes and a 22 minute walk this week.

  5. Awesome attitude! But of course you've always had that. I have hovered around the 60 lbs lost mark for around 6 months now. I honestly just was making bad choices and not putting myself before work. This was also aggravated by my super finicky band and not being able to eat anything other than sliders almost since day one. I have around 60 pounds until my goal. In the last few weeks I've finally been able to eat solid protein again and this week I got back on track with cooking, working out and stopping when I'm full and I lost 4.1 lbs! So excited and definitely motivated to keep this going. That's what I love about the band, I can get off track but I can also get back on and the damage hasn't been too great, just some lost time. Keep it going! You have been someone I've looked up to since I started this band process.

  6. So it doesn't just happen to us baby bandsters then. Keep at it LBG. If anyone can do it, it's you. xx

  7. You are amazing and obviously have some amazing jazzercise muscles that weigh far more than jiggly bits!

  8. I am new to your blog and just want to say it is inspiring to share your story. I had lap band in January 2012 and am down about 45 lbs. It's great to find others who are succeeding and maintaining; I'm looking forward to getting there!
