Well, I Guess It's Official Now

Over the past few months, I have been getting interesting looks and comments from various retail people and especially the TSA at the airports....when I would show them my drivers license when paying with a credit card or going through security...

So, last week when I was having an especially good hair day, I decided it was time to get a replacement ID photo.

Here's the comparison for you.  Current ID on the top and old ID (from June 2007) on the bottom.

Looks like I lied about my weight back then too.  More accurate would have been 260lbs.  I also had them put my goal weight on the new one....3 lbs to go!

PS: I was amazed at how congratulatory and happy the DMV folks were about this ID renewal.  I guess they really do know how to smile.

  1. LOL...you do have great hair in the new pic! It is a very polished new pic. That will be one of my goals...to be able to take a new driver's license pic!!! Thanks for introducing me around in band land. Your initial welcome brought me so many supporters and friends.

  6. That IS a good hair day! You look beautiful!

I can see why people had issues with the old ID. You look like a different person. Not only were you bigger, but your hair is pulled back and it doesn't look like you had any make-up on. In the new one, you look like you felt good and wanted the world to see it!

  13. that i an awesome DL photo. I am still carrying my old one around. I have only had one person say anything but i have had a couple of double takes. My license is finally a lie because it reads too heavy. My driver's license will for the first time (I guess another goal event) will read what I actually weight.

Congrats on the new and beautiful driver's license!!

    xxxooo

  14. You look faboulous! Your eyes look really lovely, so much more than in the older one!

I came to this sort of NSV myself last night, when I had to find my passport and one of them had expired - I have decided NOT to renew it until I have lost more weight. This one had the worst passport photo I have ever had (and it was my second attempt!)

The one I am using I am gonna be so sad when I can't use it anymore as it has a really nice photo in it...

Just in case you are confused I have dual citizenship/passports!

  15. Awesome! In NC, they don't require us to list our weight. However, I mostly like would lie about it. You look great!
