I am a big believer in rewarding one's self at large milestones in a weight loss journey.
It's important to realize all that hard work to achieving those goals.
I hit the 100 lbs lost mark a few weeks ago and have been debating whether I would do another spa day as I talked about in THIS POST. But then I thought, why not something I can wear?
Well, my UGG boots (from 1997!) have always been a winter basic for me, especially since moving to the wilderness of Oregon. I put them on the other day for the first time since February...and guess what - they were too big! Size 9s...looked like floppy clown shoes on my feet. So I passed them along to a coworker who will enjoy them.
So today I went to my local (and only) UGG seller. I picked myself up a new pair in size 7!
Sweeeeet! Also, cozy. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! That is a great reward!
ReplyDeleteMy feet are shrinking also ---Isn't it NICE???
ReplyDelete;-)
Wow! I hope my feet shrink! Before kids my feet were 9 now 10-11....
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the UGGs!
Isn't it wonderful - even your feet get smaller - I am looking forward to that!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, nice boots!
Gotta love a great UGG :P
ReplyDeleteAnd I am really looking forward to smaller shoes, that means I will be able to go buy new ones :D
Congrats and what a perfect reward.
ReplyDeleteYay! That is an awesome reward. I can't wait for smaller shoes. Maybe I won't have to buy clown shoes anymore. Size 11 or 12! Yikes! Good for you, 100 pounds is an unbelievable accomplishment. You look amazing.
ReplyDeleteCongrats!! Isn't it crazy our feet size is different?
ReplyDeleteNiiiiiiiiceeeee!! And congratulations to YOU on your milestone!!! Way to go!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the 100 pound accomplishment! I'm dreaming of the day ... And the boots look warm and cozy -- good to know our feet shrink too!
ReplyDeleteLove this! This is a goal gift I can get behind. I'm wearing the same pair, same size...right now. LOVE them! Congratulations on such a great milestone!
