It is no joke about the weightloss slowing down when one is close to their goal....WTF.
Here's what I did this week:
- 3 Zumba classes
- Kept my calories to 1100 or less per day and 50+ grams protein per day.
- Tons of water
- Took my vitamins religiously.
I really want to be officially 100 lbs down...so close! What else could I be doing to increase my loss next week?
That has to be frustrating. I'm not a bander, so I don't know, but are you supposed to be eating 1,100 calories at the weight you are now? Could you be not be eating enough? Especially with the Zumba classes? I do weight watchers and I do Zumba 4-5 times a week and I get 7 extra points for each Zumba class to add to my eating bank.
ReplyDeleteDude, I am nowhere near goal and have had small loss weeks like that. The bod is a weird and wonderful machine and it can drive us insane, sometimes. lol
ReplyDeleteYou still lost nearly a pound. And that is gooood stuff. That is almost a pound you will never see on your thighs, again. And, a small loss on the scale this week could get you a nice drop, next.
You will get to that 100 pound mark. And it will happen soon, no doubt. :D
Yeah, that's what I'm going through, too. When you're close to goal, the margin of error any given week is razor thin. A bad meal here, a skipped workout there and it's sayonora to a satisfactory weigh-in. Still, I think that's a pretty solid number at this stage in the game. Ride that momentum and let's see you smash that 100-lb mark. That's some rarefied air indeed...
ReplyDeleteYou mentioned protein, but not carbs. Maybe try minimizing your carb intake for a week and see what happens. Either way, you still ROCK!
ReplyDeleteThe bad news is that your weight loss has slowed, but the good news is you are still losing AND you are very close to goal. I only lost 1.4 this week and I've still got 90 lbs to lose. Don't be so hard on yourself. You will lose this weight and reach your goal - maybe not as quickly as you would like, but you will get there.
ReplyDelete.8 is still not awful, and it's the right direction! Sounds like you're doing all the right things, just hang in there and results will follow eventually. So frustrating sometimes, though, I know!
