How To Gain Four Pounds in Four Days With the Lap-Band

....just keepin' it real.

Getting my dose of accountability for the day. 

I've just had a very busy and fun four day weekend of FOOD. 

I won't go into the details. No food porn talk needed this morning.

I weigh every morning, but only count my Friday weigh-ins.

If you remember, last Friday I was 142.2 lbs.

This morning's weight: 146.8 lbs.

Yep, that's a GAIN of 4.6 lbs in 4 days.  All related to MY food choices over the weekend.

The Lap-Band is not magic.   wish it was.

It takes work.

There is no "done."

There is no finish line.

Let's see what my official weigh-in is on Friday.

  2. So true. I have to work work work. And those pounds gained in a day seem to take more than one of work to take off.

  3. I can do that. I have actually gone up five pounds on the scale by eating wrong on a three day weekend. Yeah, and no lap band required.

    The art of recovery is definitely a great skill. Good luck and I know you can get that off very soon. :)

  5. I was also up....... and already back on my way (weigh??) down. It happens. And if it takes 3 days to gain it.... it takes at least 9 to lose it. Life isn't fair!

  7. I feel better now. I am only eating my "soft foods" and 1 month with my band (no fills yet) and I gained a pound!!!!!!! I have no idea how!!!!!!! I don't hardly eat anything. But I do feel better knowing I'm not alone... Love ya band sisters!!!!!!!

  8. HAHAHA. I did the same.. but I don't have a band (yet). I am trying the liquid diet thing to start planning ahead, and have gotten rid of 2 of those 4 lbs I gained this weekend. By the way, thank you for your blog! You have inspired me so much, and guided me. Oh ya.. and convicted me to start my own blog. http://cruisinwiththelapband.blogspot.com/
    I hope I am as successful as you have been once I get banded.
