Even though I do realize that a vacation is about relaxing and having fun, I still struggle with the unrealistic thought that I will gain all the weight back overnight...like the weight-gain fairy will visit one night and wave her magic wand over my sleeping body and *BAM!*, all 111 lbs are back.
I stepped onto the scale this morning....are you ready for this?
I weighed in at 146.8 lbs this morning. That's a gain of exactly 6 lbs in 8 days.
Onwards to the gratuitous cruise pics:
Cocktail Time!
Formal night with my Sister!
Having fun on Princess Cays!
Super cute swim suit! And I love the other pics as well. Don't worry about that gain. It was expected, and it will come right off.
ReplyDeleteGreat pics! My guess is that in a couple days you will see an immediate drop. Regardless, it's temporary and getting back into your routine will get you back where you were. Glad you had a good time!
ReplyDeleteI know exactly how easy it is to tell someone else "Don't worry about it, etc..." but how hard it is to believe it yourself. The thing to remember here is you can get those pounds back off...and as scary as it is, the weight loss fairy will not not not come and put all your lost weight back on. I absolutely LOVE your pictures and am so jealous. I cannot wait for my next cruise. Maybe in September.
ReplyDeleteWhen I binge there is usually water weight. You have built up such a strong repetoire of good habits...I know you will be fine in the long run.
ReplyDeleteThose pix are awesome! I love your hair/dress in the second picture!
ReplyDeleteAs for a 6 pound gain..... I know your spirit well enough by now, that you're going to work hard to get back. And the "old" you? How much do you think 'she' would have gained? I know the "old" me, if placed in your shoes, would have gained close to 20..... perhaps more!
You took a little break while on vacation..... now it's back to your regularly scheduled life :)
Hugs,
Karen
Look at those guns in the first picture! Damn, girl, you look fantastic. I would loooove to have your arms.
ReplyDeleteThe six pounds will come off. Get right back on the horse, you know exactly what to do. No worries.
You look great! :)
ReplyDeleteYou look great! Great pictures! Sounds like you had a wonderful time. The weight will probably come back off now that your back to "reality".
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I'm glad you had a good time and those pounds will be gone in no time.
ReplyDeleteIsn't your goal weight 145 anyway? So you have less than two pounds to be back at goal. Very nice and a great trip too. I know you had to enjoy having some nice weather. We lived a short time in Brookings, OR. It was kind of gloomy weather but beautiful. Love the pictures.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had fun! You look great as well!
ReplyDeleteYou look amazing. Glad you had such a great time. Those lbs will be gone in no time.
ReplyDeleteCute swimsuit.
Love the pics!! You look HAPPY!!!
ReplyDeleteI am pretty shocked about the weight gain. Usually the body is not *that* picky about short term trends.
ReplyDeleteNearly a pound a day? Something is not right there
You look great -- and I bet that you just over-did it on the salt the night before your weigh-in and that those pounds will be off before you know it.
ReplyDeleteIt's kind of great how this is so different from how we all were pre-band, isn't it? :) Getting right on the scale and back on the stick after a decadent vacation, instead of just keeping on that course until 6 pounds become 16? Sounds like an NSV to me.
You are so adorable! What a fun trip.
