Weigh-in Day & Moving Recap!

I think my scale is broken.

Depending on where I put my scale on the floor I get a low of 142.4 lbs and a high of 147.8 lbs. All within minutes of each weigh-in.

Whatevs.

So instead of dwelling on that, I will now tell you about how the big move from Oregon to California has been going.

I've been staying at hotels for about a week now.

There have been lots of meals out.

Which means lots of tempting food choices.

And way too much salt in everything.

The little cafe in the hotel sells ice cream sandwiches. I had three of those bad boys this past week.

But I've been pretty good about keeping on track with my food choices otherwise.

Onwards to a fantabulous moving photo montage just for you. Here's what's gone down in the last seven days:
Last night the old house in Oregon.
We stare at the ceiling when
we don't have WiFi or Cable TV
really. big. truck.
Load 'em up.
Off to the first hotel in Oregon.
With cat litter.
That's how I roll.
One last catch up with Oregon friends...
Pemberley at hotel #2 in California.
Time to unload.
Oh. No. Will it all fit in the new place?
Tonight is my first night sleeping at my new place.

There's lots of unpacking to do.

Bring it on.

  2. Welcome home! And I'm impressed with the cat litter in the car picture - you're a braver woman than I would be to drive with that in my back seat!!

Make the new place your own and yeah, maybe a new scale as a housewarming gift to yourself?

  3. Man, 5lbs is a big difference! I'm thinking a new scale is in order! So happy to see you are finally in your new place! How exciting! i've only ever moved like twice..1 time out of my parents house into my bf's (hubby now) and his roomates place...then a few months later we moved into our own place and have been there for 8 years. I can't WAIT to move! :)
