Gotta Have a Back Up Plan

I woke up this morning and it was snowing.  Kinda a cool thing for this California girl.

My plan was to drive 10 minutes to my usual Saturday morning Zumba class.  It was cold...the roads were slushy...What if it really was unsafe to go out due to the weather? (which it wasn't).

I always try to have a back up plan for exercise:  This morning, my back up plan was 45+ minutes of Just Dance 2 on the Wii and 15+ minutes of Zumba on the Wii.

But I didn't do the Wii, I ended up going to my usual Zumba class this morning...here's proof...a red-faced/sweaty mess:

What's your back up plan when your planned exercise can't happen?

  1. Guess I better think of one. We've got Wii and Kinect so moving shouldn't be a problem.

  2. You look great as a sweaty mess. :-) Sadly, I don't have a backup plan. My living room is too small to exercise in, so if I can't make it to the gym or run outside, I'm pretty much screwed. Although, I have thought that I could always walk laps at the mall and go up and down the stairs.

  4. Sleep? LOL. No not really. My back up plan: my small inside trampoline, the Total Gym, or a workout video.

  5. My Wii is my back up plan, but I'm not good about actually DOING the back up plan. Luckily, Plan A has worked out well lately. Glad you made it to class!
