Just had to report that I had a major Non-Scale Victory (NSV) today.
I went to see my primary care physician that I haven't seen since before the band. He was pleased with my weight-loss (50+ lbs). But more importantly, he reduced my blood pressure meds in HALF! YAY!
My poor health is my primary reason for getting banded, my appearance improvement (clothes fitting better/etc) is just the "bonus".
I LOVE MY BAND
That's the best NSV I've heard yet. Congratulations, and great work!
ReplyDeleteWHOO HOO!!! Congratulations lady. That is such great news. I was just thinking that for the first time in a while I'm eager to see my PCP and get my cholesterol checked. Your post inspires me to do that even more! xoxo
ReplyDeleteOh WOW!!!! That is so fantastic! Thank you for sharing this! Cheers to good health!
ReplyDeleteThats fabulous!
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome news...well done!!!
ReplyDeleteGrat blog!!! I had the same thing happen last month and was so excited to finally reduce at least one of my handful of pills (only problem is we're 'testing it' so I have to cut my triangular pills in half...I'm no sous chef LOL).
ReplyDeleteAw congradulations! That is so awesome!!! Wooo hooo! And your new photo, in the green, is adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteNot to be retarded or anything, but thank you for repeatedly mentioning that NSV means Non-scale victory! I had been seeing it everywhere and I had no idea what it meant!
