PLATEAU?!?!

Ack! I have been a steady looser ever since the pre-op diet.

So today (13 wks post-op), I jumped on the scale and it is exactly what I weighed last friday. EXACTLY THE SAME!

I had a really "on plan" week too. I did a Zumba class and a yoga class. Ate 1100-1200 calories a day (per usual), drank all my water, 60+ grams of protein each day. WTF! I am stuck at a loss of 46.2 lbs.

But I am not going to let this deter me -- I am going to push through this plateau do some extra walking this long weekend...!

  1. Hi there! I'm at a plateau too and it sucks big time. We do everything right and our bodies just hang on to it. My dr told me yesterday to stagger my calories, like one day do 1100 and the next do 1600 then 1250. It keeps your body burning. I'm trying it this week, so we shall see. Have a great weekend

  2. Yep! I hear you - same here - I've been plateauing on and off for about a month - one week I have a tiny loss.. the next nothing, then nothing again and so and so forth. It's darn frustrating. But!! We will prevail! We just have to get over this hump. Keep doing what you're doing, it HAS to shift sometime!!

  3. Try knocking back caloric intake for a couple of days by 100-200 calories, and see what happens. Sometimes I had plateau weeks around my cycle.

  5. Yep been there ! Do everything right and got nothing in return. I figured out that it helps me to throw in 2 days of liquids when things arent moving to kinda of syke out the metabolism and so fat it seems to work.
