...and no weigh-in to report because I am not near my scale this morning.
Here I am in April 2005 at my sister's wedding at the Bellagio Resort in Las Vegas:
I remember that this dress was a size 26W. I had to buy it off of the internet because no local bridal stores in my area sold my large size.
You and your sister remind me of me and my sister. You looked gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteIt's still a pretty great dress. :)
ReplyDeleteYou look pretty in the pic... but you look totally different now!! Keep up the amazing work!
ReplyDeleteyou were pretty then and you are pretty now! but you are sooo healthy and fit now, that is great
ReplyDeleteI agree, you looked beautiful, and the dress was flattering.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
I agree - you were pretty then and you're pretty now, but it's got to be such a great feeling to walk into any dress store and find one. I laugh that I want to buy/rent a slinky wedding dress when I hit goal and have pictures taken with my husband as a "skinny bride."
ReplyDeleteI agree with all the comments before me. You were always beautiful and you still are. :)
ReplyDeleteI just love these flashbacks! You have come so far. That plum really is your color! I don't let anyone take many pictures of me now...I am going to want some of these to remind myself of how far I've come. Better let Hubs get the camera out.
ReplyDeleteI can see you hiding in there! It's amazing how much more confidence I see in your "now" pictures. You are inspiring... :)
ReplyDeleteAs the others have said, I still think you were beautiful and still are. You are just much healthier now. That dress is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteamazing, simply amazing. You've come a long way, baby!
ReplyDeleteYou looked really great, but/ and it is no secret that you were very overweight back then...
ReplyDeleteYou have completely changed in your appearance and habits and it is so amazing. What a great role model and inspiration you are-- I know I constantly am saying that, but I definitely believe it.
Lap Band Gal rocks the band!
I'm "one of THOSE" who just read ALL your blogs the last 3 days. :-) Thank you so much for sharing your journey, and how you have helped me digest (yup! chew, chew, chew...) the information as I work through the very beginning stages of mine. You are my first blog feed add as I try to figure this whole thing out!! I just started a blog today. Hopefully over the next weeks I'll figure this blogging world out more too, it seems like a terrific support network.
