I'm looking forward to making a big Thanksgiving dinner this Thursday. Family will be staying for the long weekend too. It will be fun!
So I've made my spreadsheet with my shopping list and have just returned home from grocery shopping.
Now there are foods in my kitchen that are NEVER EVER there. Yikes.
What foods? All trigger foods for me:
- Breakfast cereal
- Peanut butter
- Ice cream
- Pie
- Mini Marshmallows
- Butter
- Whipped cream
- Half & half
- Bread
- The list could go on and on.
How many days until Thursday? Sigh.
This will be a good test for me to see if this food stays OUT of my mouth until then.
Do you think I can last until Thursday? Place your bets...
Here are all the yummies....I think I can even hear their thoughts if I listen closely...
Wow! That's more "crap" than I've seen in any of your fridge pics... EVER! I say you can hold out til Thursday. :)
ReplyDeleteI have no doubt in my mind that you are absolutely strong enough to resist all that crap! x
ReplyDeleteYou can totally hold off.
ReplyDeleteYour food stuffs are thinking evil, evil thoughts. Don't worry, it's easier than it seems to avoid this crap. It makes you sick to your stomach to eat it now-a-days.
ReplyDeleteI believe in you. I know you can hold off for a few more days. Indulge a bit on Thursday and Friday, but then back on track once family leaves. It's a great reminder though of why we leave these things at the grocery store. Too much temptation to have them under the same roof!
ReplyDeleteI totally think you can do it! Just don't start. Don't take the first bite. Thankfully, you'll have people to help you eat it all. It's harder when you only have two people like I do but I'm also not buying a lot of extras. :)
ReplyDeleteJust don't open ANY of it until absolutely necessary. It's amazing how much willpower one can get from plastic seals. :)
ReplyDeleteI am certain you will JUST SAY NO! Now if it was huge honking piece of Red Velvet Cake you might have some trouble....LOL
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your weight loss. Just found your blog and can't wait to read through it, and follow along for future posts.
ReplyDeleteI am sure that you will make it, and you will enjoy a little of these treats all the more when you are enjoying the day. And just honk, your work out Wednesday pic will ensure you have an even better Thanksgiving :o)
ReplyDeleteYou can do it!!
ReplyDeletelol girl you crack me up!!!
