Guess what I'm going to do today?

I am going to a Jazzercise class.  I've never been.  Have you?

Here are the thoughts and questions swirling around in my head:
  • Will there be lots of leg warmers and sweat bands circa 1984?
  • Should I start practicing my "jazz hands" so that I can fit in during class?
  • What's a kickball change?
  • Will there be a bunch of old ladies wearing the previously mentioned leg warmers and sweat bands?
  • Will I get to work out to cool 80s tunes?
I will report back and let you know!

  4. We used to have Jazzercize in the apartments I lived in when I was 13-14. I went faithfully because it was so fun. I would LOVE to find a place to do it now. (Of course, I was chubby, but very limber in my younger years)

  7. Haha omg you have to update when you get back! I didn't even know you could still go to jazzercise. I thought the only remaining evidence of jazzercise were on the old VHS tapes :P

  8. I went for six months or so two or three times a week. Loved it and never saw a single leg warmer. Ha ha There were all ages and all sizes of ladies (and one man) and if you had not mastered a particular step, you were encouraged to march in place but KEEP MOVING. I'm sure the Zumba classes are much more "modern".
