I Zumba'd!!

I just got home from my first Zumba class.

I was very worried that I wouldn't be able to keep up or do the moves correctly.

It turned out that I did OK and it was F-U-N!!!!!!! Who knew...exercise can actually be enjoyable. This is a very new concept for me.
So every Tuesday night for the next 8 weeks I will be Zumba-fied!!

  1. I have been hearing so much talk about Zumba classes! I take it, that it is a dance class? I had never heard of it before, so I know absolutely nothing about it. But it sounds so fun!

Do you think that someone old like me (54) with Arthritis & Fibromyalgia problems would be able to do this? I used to love to dance when I was younger.

Glad to hear that you have found something that is fun & good exercise!

  2. I so want to do Zumba but I can't seem to find a class here in Oz.. where I live.. sigh.. You guys in the US are lucky - more people living there, mean more options. I will keep looking.

Good for you also.. it sounds wonderful being able to do it!!

  4. Jealous! I want to try Zumba but the times it is offered at my gym are not good - hopefully some day!

Good for you getting out there and doing it! Exercise should be fun!

  7. I had my surgery 10/14/2009, have been consistenely losing (even through bandster hell) and have had the same thing happen. Last week I was down 37 lbs, maintained healthy habits, was confident the scale would continue to show decent results and instead I gained 2 lbs!! I feel your pain! Best of luck to you.
