Segways - Before & Now

Lately, I've been trying to teach myself how to use Photoshop and the best that I can do so far is putting two photos next to each other with text.

Exciting, it's not.

Do you have any helpful Photoshop tips for me?

I wish that I had the FABULOUS photo and blog design skills that Jen over at Just Foolin Blog Designs has.  She's the one who made my blog so fancy.  If you haven't visited her design site, go check it out.

Jen also recently did one of the best posts that I've read in a long time: Things they don't tell you in the Lap Band Informational Seminar.

  1. I use Photoshop... its hard to give tips on it, I learned by just fiddling with a lot of things. I actually had to kind of re-teach myself some things because I had not used it in years when I did my header for my own blog. I did find some tutorial sites but their not as good as the ones I used back in the day (2002). Hahaha. What kind of things are you trying to do? I would also consider using YouTube for tutorials. I found a few good ones on there.

  3. Ohhh Photoshop. It can be a magnificent program and your worst nightmare all in one! I've worked with it from about 1997 till now. And i learn something new darn near every day. It is hard to explain in type different tricks of the trade, but I found if you go to this site: http://www.photoshopsupport.com/ and here: http://www.adobe.com/support/photoshop/ Those can help you with videos and articles and whatnot. That's how I learn a lot of my stuff. Good luck!!!

  4. You did a great job on your side by side. What a transformation! I can never get enough of before and after photos. It's actually what drew me to blog design - I started doing photo collage headers. So fun to see the photos.
I don't really have any tips, other than to play around and to check out PuglyPixel.com. I love her tutorials and freebies.
Thanks for the shout out on my site and that blog post. Glad you enjoyed it. It was a blast to write. Thanks for sharing it!
